Obviously, city streets are busy and we are really having a hard time to park our car. Kadayawan celebration brings visitors from all walks of life. It was my first time to witness that our city is not free from flood. It rained heavily last night with lightning and wind. We were in a place where we usually hang-out and decided to go home when my buddy’s sister was calling him that he should fetch his brother. While we are on our way, his brother warned us not to pass by Boulevard St. to avoid being congested because the water is extremely high. We try to escape known flood areas like near the Central Bank, but when we manoeuvred to Torres St., it was the most awful. Although our car is quite big, the noise of water rapids panicked me. I thought the car will surrender, but it didn’t. It was really a nervous feeling especially that we’ve seen a lot of busted vehicles.
